Boarding the boat

Here are some pictures of me setting off on the "Hartland Point" on a very foggy day - can they see where to sail in all this fog?

And here is my "Ticket" that Hils did for me (Thanks Hils!):

My first look at my private cabin (first class with squeaky pig installed).

Me mooching about in my cabin checking out the toys

And here is a picture of me with my new bestest friend Gary...

And just one last goodbye to my foster mum.....

More Greetings from Canada :)from
Michele who works with Mary Anne (aka The Story Hour Angel) who just thinks General Jackson has a "tail" to tell and we are watching this spot daily!
Life is full of change, and we are curious to see how the General adapts to LIFE ON THE HIGH SEAS!

Hi General Jackson!
Our son is Dave Guy who is taking you to your new home in the Falklands. We thought you would like to know his "Doggie Credentials". He has grown up with Cairn Terrier- Roddy, Border Terrier - Tean, Minature Dachshund - Rameses, Cairn Terrier - Jamie, and now our present Border Terrier - 2 1/2 year old Chinks. We are sure you will be well looked after by Dave and his merry men. Unfortunately we were on board the Hartland Point the day before you arrived so missed meeting you. Enjoy the remainder of you "cruise" and good luck in your new home.
Sam and Jan Guy.

Hi General Jackson. My Partner is one of the Motormen onboard the Hartland Point. I was not allowed to come and see you when you arrived for fear of kidnapping you, but I was allowed to have your blog address! I hope you are enjoying your trip and hear that you are being spoiled rotten. I hope you don't receive the King Neptune treatment when you cross the equator though, but I do hope you receive the recognition for doing it.
