Why so early?

Why DO humans get up so early on mondays? I mean, those weekend wake ups ARE a little on the late side - but being woken up at 6AM to play is a bit silly. I think the human creatures are a bit touched in the head.

Anyway... I am growing into a BIG BASSET.
Look - I am now bigger than Tealeaf:

(My foster mum tells me that this is a trick of the camera called PER-SPEC-TIVE (or something) and it is not real. Damn.)

But still considerably smaller than the dinosaur dog.

I wonder if I can squeeze this big bed into my indoor kennel? It is my favorite.
